Day 1: Lhasa arrival (3650m)

You arrive at the Lhasa Gonggar Airport or the train station. The airport is 62 km/ 39 miles away from the city, and it takes approximately one hour to get to the hotel from there. On the way to Lhasa, you will enjoy beautiful views of the mountains.The train station is located in Lhasa, and you will only need a short transfer to the hotel.Depending on the time of your arrival, you might have some free time to spend in Lhasa. Our guides will be happy to advise you on what you can do with your time in Lhasa. After you check in the hotel, you are welcome to explore the city, visit nearby temples, do some shopping, try delicious Tibetan food in one of the local restaurants, or just take a rest.  Walking around Bakhor Street can be an excellent choice for your first day in Lhasa. You will join crowds of pilgrims, local Tibetans, and monks circumambulating the Jokhang Temple.Most importantly, on your first day in Tibet, be sure to relax, enjoy your day and allow some time for acclimatizing.

Day 2: Lhasa Sightseeing  (3650m)

 Today  in the morning your guide will meet you in a Hotel lobby and first place you are going to visit is one of the oldest temple in Lhasa (Johkang Temple), Build in 7th century by 33rd Buddhist king Songtsen Gampo, after Temple you can walk around the Baker Street, this street is one of the most beautiful place to explore people and its culture,  in the afternoon you will going to visit Potala Palace this place was build in 7th century by 33rd Buddhist king and rebuild in present size by 5th Dalai Lama in 17th century.   Staying overnight at Hotel in Lhasa 

Day 3: lhas Sightseeing 

Today you will going to visit one of the largest Monastery of Gelukpa sect of Tibetan buddhism, its call Drepong monastery, build in 1416th by Jamming Chojay Tasha Plden on of the great student of Master Tsongapa.  After lunch we are going to visit Sera monastery this is also third largest monastery of Gelukpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism and build in 1419 by Jachen Chojay Sakya yeshi student of Master Tsongapa, Staying overnight at Hotel in Lhasa.


Attractions: Meditation cave of Guru rinpoch, Hot spring and Drigung Til 

Today we will drive to the East of Lhasa, our destination of the day is Terdrom nunnery which is located in the Drigung valley. Terdrom nunnery is well known for retreat and meditation since the 7th century. At that time Gurupadmasambava and his consort Khadro Yeshi Tsogyal had meditated and their caves can still be visited now. The hot spring is also popular with its natural healing power  special for those who have leg fracture, started from 8th century and it is one of spiritual and religious site you will have time the beauty of its nature and Hot spriing, and in the afternoon you will visit Drigung Til Monastery, this monastery is build in 11th century and played important role in Tibetan buddhism, has a beautiful views from the top, staying overnight at Guest House.


Attractions: Ganden monsatery 

Today we are going  back to Lhasa. One of the most attractive place that you are going to visit it 14th century old Tibetan monastery, Ganden monastey, this monastery was eracted in 1409 by Tsongakpa, founder of Geluk pa sect of Tibetan buddhism and this monasty is the mother monastery of Yellow sect of Tibetan Buddhism (Geluk pa ) inside the monastery you will see the assembly hall, Tsongakpa funeral stupa room, Tsongakpa Golden Throne room etc, after visiting monastery you will get time to do a monastery Kora, it will take approsmately around 45 minutes and has a beautiful view of Lhasa river and beautiful valley.


Today our guide and driver will send you to the airport or train station and it is time to say your goodbye and depart to your next destination. Travel Agreement for travelers who go to the Tibet Autonomous Region

All foreign tourists receiving a permit for the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) through Tibet Experience must read and agree to the clauses provided in this agreement before applying for a permit.

1, Lhasa Tibetan guide can not process permits for: Diplomats, press agents, 

2, You can not deal with a Travel Permit or other necessary documents by yourself. Only Travel Agencies in Tibet (TAR) can deal with these permits and documents.

3, Individual travel inside and outside of Lhasa is an illegal activity.       All travelers inside and outside of Lhasa must be part of a guided tour from Lhasa travel agency.

4, The TAR is NOT a fully opened area. There are some places that are closed to foreigners and even Chinese travelers and also you are not allow to take photo with bridge and police station in Tibet. You must follow local rules and  regulations. Check with our travel agency for the current policies in the areas you want to travel. We will help you to legally enter the areas you desire, if they are possible.

5, All foreign tourists in the Tibet (TAR) must not participate in any activity that would disrupt the peace and prosperity of China Tibet.       Don’t do  anything that destroy the Tibetan way of life and their cultural heritage. You will take full responsibility in accordance with Chinese law for any illegal actions you participate in.

6, Understand that any illegal activities will also bring repercussions on the local agencies you have obtained your permit through.       Please consider how your actions affect not just yourself but the local Tibetan community!

7, We will not hold any responsibility due to policy changes.       Policies may change even after we have all of the documents. We are not responsible for the cost of cancellation, change, or delay due to policy changes.

8, By booking with our company the purchaser acknowledges that travel in Tibetan regions is remote, wilderness in nature, and unpredictable. Given these conditions that are inherent to the region, Lhasa Tibetan guide has no any  responsibility for travel disruption, safety, injury incurred during transportation, and healthcare emergencies.

9, We cannot guarantee refund due to trip cancellations for personal or external reasons (such as late travel, illness, natural disasters, etc…).

10, Our price quotes are based on current prices of all things considered in your trip and are subject to change. We work very hard to provide the cheapest possible price, and if there is a change it is for a very good reason.
